Frequently Asked Questions

What age range do you teach?

We welcome students ages 4 through adult. Whether your child is just beginning or you're returning to piano as an adult learner, we tailor our lessons to your goals and stage of life.

Do you accept beginners?

Absolutely. We work with students of all levels. Many begin with no prior experience, and we specialize in helping all students—from first-timers to advanced pianists—build a strong, confident foundation.

Are performance opportunities available?

Yes! Many of our students participate in recitals, and assessments. For students pursuing more serious study—including those preparing for music supplements, auditions, or competitions—we offer additional opportunities and coaching tailored to those goals.

Do you offer 30-minute lessons?

We do not offer single 30-minute lessons per week. However, for younger students (ages 4–7), we offer the option of two 30-minute lessons weekly to support attention and faster progress.

Our annual program includes 42 lessons across the year, and we expect families to fulfill that commitment. If students will be away during summer, we encourage families to complete their summer lessons earlier in the year to stay on track. This flexibility helps maintain progress without sacrificing consistency.

Families looking to pause completely over the summer may not be the best fit for our program.

Do you provide in-home piano lessons?

We do not offer in-home or traveling lessons. All instruction takes place at our studio, where we provide a focused, well-equipped learning environment.

Is it necessary to have a piano at home?

Yes. A full-size keyboard or acoustic piano is essential for progress.
An acoustic piano offers the best experience, helping students develop proper touch, technique, and dynamic control. High-quality weighted digital keyboards can also work well. We’re happy to recommend options if you’re just getting started.
